From the back of one cafe
YieldAI started inside a real restaurant. The founder spent years running operations at an independent cafe — chasing food cost, fighting labor variance, manually drafting schedules from forecasts that lived in his head. The data existed; the tools did not.
The first version of YieldAI was a one-off dashboard built to answer a single question: what does the next week look like, and what should I do about it? It worked. Then it answered the question for ordering. Then scheduling. Then prep. Then the whole P&L.
Today, YieldAI runs in independent restaurants across the US — quietly, in the background, every day. We are building the system the founder wished he had when he was the operator, for everyone else who still is.
