1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using YieldAI ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference. If you are accepting on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Your account
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Use a strong, unique password and enable multi-factor authentication where available. Notify us immediately at hello@getyieldai.com if you suspect unauthorized access. You may not share credentials or allow others to impersonate you.
3. The Service
YieldAI provides analytics, AI-assisted forecasting, labor scheduling, inventory management, prep build-tos, ordering suggestions, and related back-office automation features for restaurant operators. We may add, modify, or deprecate features over time. We will give advance notice for material changes that remove functionality you currently use.
4. Subscriptions and billing
Plans
YieldAI is offered on a subscription basis: Starter ($149/month or $119/month billed annually) and Growth ($349/month or $279/month billed annually). Enterprise plans are governed by a separate order form. Prices are in USD and are subject to change with 30 days' notice.
Free trial
New accounts receive a 60-day free trial. No credit card is required to begin the trial. At the end of the trial period, the subscription converts to a paid plan only if you have explicitly entered a payment method and confirmed the plan. Your trial will not auto-convert to a paid subscription without your action.
Billing and auto-renewal
Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual cycle. Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period at the then-current price unless you cancel before the renewal date. You authorize us to charge your payment method on file for each renewal. We will send a reminder email before your first paid charge and before each annual renewal.
Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time from Settings → Billing → Manage Subscription. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain full access until then. We do not issue partial-period refunds except where required by applicable law. To cancel an iOS in-app subscription, use the Subscriptions section in your Apple ID settings.
Refunds
If you believe you were charged in error, contact hello@getyieldai.com within 30 days of the charge. We will review and, where appropriate, issue a refund. Refunds are not available for partial months or for unused features.
In-app purchases (iOS App Store)
When subscribing through the Apple App Store, payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID Account Settings. The free trial converts to a paid subscription after the trial ends; turning off auto-renewal during the trial will cancel the subscription.
5. Your data
You retain all rights, title, and interest in the data you connect to or upload into YieldAI — including POS transactions, employee records, inventory data, and any other business data. You grant us a limited license to process that data solely to operate and improve the Service for your organization. We do not sell your data. We do not use one customer's data to train AI models that benefit other customers. See our Privacy Policy for full details on how we handle your information.
6. Automated actions and AI suggestions
YieldAI offers three levels of automation per workflow — Suggest (shows recommendations, you act), Co-Pilot (prepares actions for your one-tap approval), and Auto-Pilot (executes within guardrails you set). Promoting any workflow to Co-Pilot or Auto-Pilot is an explicit, reversible action. You are responsible for reviewing and configuring the guardrails for each automated workflow. YieldAI is not liable for business outcomes resulting from actions taken within guardrails you have configured.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to: (a) attempt unauthorized access to any system or data; (b) reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service; (c) scrape, crawl, or abuse automated endpoints; (d) use the Service for any unlawful purpose; (e) submit malicious code or content; (f) circumvent billing or access controls; or (g) resell the Service without our written permission. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these restrictions.
8. Third-party integrations
YieldAI connects to third-party services (POS systems, HR platforms, accounting software, payment processors, etc.) at your direction. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or performance of third-party services. Disconnecting an integration from within YieldAI may affect the accuracy of forecasts and reports.
9. Intellectual property
YieldAI and its underlying technology, branding, models, and documentation are the property of YieldAI and its licensors, protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of YieldAI IP to you. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on YieldAI without our written permission.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all warranties — express, implied, or statutory — including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that forecasts or suggestions will be accurate. You rely on the Service at your own discretion.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, YieldAI's total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of or related to these Terms or the Service will not exceed the amount you paid to YieldAI in the 12 months preceding the claim. In no event will YieldAI be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunity — even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
12. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless YieldAI and its officers, directors, employees, and contractors from and against any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Service, violation of these Terms, or violation of any third-party right.
13. Termination
You may stop using YieldAI and cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access with notice if you violate these Terms, fail to pay amounts due, or if required by law. On termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Your data will be retained for up to 90 days after termination to allow export, after which it will be deleted pursuant to our Privacy Policy.
14. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Delaware for any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service. Before initiating formal proceedings, both parties agree to attempt in good faith to resolve disputes through direct discussion.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date below, sending an email to the address on your account, and displaying a prominent in-product notice. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
